The Arts Council of Trinidad is a non-profit organization with a mission to encourage and support the arts in Trinidad Colorado and Las Animas County. We are registered with the federal government as a 501c-3 organization, meaning that we do not make a profit and are not required to pay federal income taxes. This also means that donors can claim donations to our group as charitable contributions.
Membership dues are $10 per year for a standard membership, and $30 per year to have an artists page. Dues are effective year to date whenever you sign up. Members are invited to monthly board meetings, held on the first Monday of each month.

The Arts Council is governed by a Board of Directors. They include a President, a Secretary and a Treasurer. There is an average of five members, currently there are four. Board members serve one year terms.
We formed in Spring 2017. We welcome suggestions about possible activities in the area and are open to partnerships.
